I was taking the train home for Christmas and to my surprise, Hazel Dickens was in the same car as I was. The train was packed and we couldn't find a seat together. Further on down the line, I got up and went to where she was sitting and we started to talk. We passed a most pleasurable time talking about music and the movies she's been in (Songcatcher and Matewan). I considered myself very lucky. Here I was able to get information on subjects and songs straight from the source.
