Here's a simple example that may clarify things for you.

When you type it like this:

<A HREF = "http://www.mudcat.org">MUDCAT</A>

It comes out looking like this:

MUDCAT

Also, you can force a single line feed by typing this

<BR>

or a wider space by typing this

<P>
