Subject: RE: BS: Bush's 'Medicare reform'
Hey, GUEST, I've had this discussion with you (or a similar GUEST) in the past and the guns part is where we part company. Guns play to the strength of the government. Non-vilence peaks to its weaknesses.

At one time Mao was correct in hism thinking that power comes from the end of a gun. That was before the weaponry of today. Plus, even if the people could take back their counrty with guns, think about it. What's changed. Think "Animal Farm" here.

"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss..."

No, the only way to take back our country is to win the hearts and imaginations and visions of the working class atb a time when Boss Hog is tightening his grip. This is going to take the following:

* Street Education
* Non-violent Protesting
* Civil Disobedience
* Community Organizing
* Creativity
* Boycotts
* National Strikes

No guns, please, we have to win. Just think of the power of a national strike. Think it can't happen in the US? It can and eventually it will. No reason to play into the genocidal plans by the ruling class by having our best shot down in the streeets because they thought it would be a good idea to take on tanks with guns. You loose.

And like I have said, what have you changed? Nothing.

War
What is is good for
Nothing
Absolutely nothing

Peace and Change thru Non-violence, please
