Is it true that men, per se, prefer act-and-damn-the-consequences figures rather than analytical, thoughtful males? Do men prefer a simple black and white world with one-trick-charlies vying successfully for gorgeous but one-dimensional women as depicted in Bond movies to that of a complex society where it is frequently difficult for people- including men- to know the proper course, given that there are multiple paths, all of which may pass through pain and uncertainty, a world where there is no single best road? Do men acknowledge and accept that this is a world where people- includiing men- cry alone in the night?
