I bet that the more people sit around and bet it's gonna happen, imagining and speculating on and visualizing it happening, all the while churning up more and more huge dark "pools" of fear and negative emotions and dumping them out on everyone around them, the more likely they'll make choices and behave in ways that ENSURE it happening. Whether they are aware of what they're doing or not.
