Doug, much as I like you and respect your views, sometimes I have to wonder. I'm sure you really believe that "all Saddam has to do is comply with the UN accords he agreed to and there will be no war," but I think you're being as naive as Ebbie has been accused of being. Remember that LBJ got his War Powers Act because of the Gulf of Tonkin incident....and that incident, as it turned out, never happened--the military and the President lied to Congress and the American people. Do you think it couldn't happen again?
