    I've only been around autoharps for a few years, and I play an Orthey Chromatic. It is a beautiful insturment.
    There are several folks on the Cyberpluckers list who "set-up" harps, with new strings, pads, bars, springs, etc. They are very reasonable, and they do great work. I would get a pro to set-up your first one, and then you can do the rest of them.
