At least you have the good grace to apolgise. And SD is not the first to say he's crap - I am and I've never heard him say it once in fact.

What other entertainer would simply turn up at someone's house for a cup of tea? A sad one in dire need of the publicity I would have thought - and Daniel O'Donnell of course.

He entertains in the same way as Eddie the Eagle Edwards did. His audience speaks for itself - over 70's one step away from (or already in) the retirement home. Glitzy Elvis style suits does not make him an entertainer. I accept he is a Scottish Institution - sorry - he should be in a Scottish Institution, with memories of Harry Lauder and what he did for our image.
