Mudpuppies, indeed! I've got bluish-black spots all over me from when I tackle(d) them, those darn necturus maculosus, anyway! Now, if there'd actually "been some mud" it would've helped a bit and if they'd not had those "sharp little baby teeth!" I swear it was like tussling with a baby "vampire!"
