There was a Navaho named Charlie Wumwear who was a wonder high steel construction worker. His sense of balance, like many Native Americans, was simply amazing. He could walk on steel beams hundreds of feet in the air with perfect balance. But oonce he did slip and fall 2 entire floors before he managed tograb onto a cable dangling in front of him. Another worker lowered a spanner wrench to him---a wrench that was coated with sticky tar. Charlie grabben ahold of it & was hauled up to safety. A photographer from the Navaho Times took a picture of the rescue and ther photo ran in the paper the next day. The caption read: There's a tar spackled spanner saving Wumwear!Art (from Utah Phillips)
