Back in the Nixon era the media was a pain in the ass to the administration. A crack appeared in their wall of lies when the Washington Post went ahead with Watergate even after being threatened. Today one by one, merger by merger the entire media has been bought by Military industrial companies like GE or corporations like Disney and Murdoch that have a go along to get along agreement with the government. The radio ownership is even more dramaticly right wing. These deliberate moves on the media is in part why the USA is becoming "by polls" a nation of sheeple.

We no longer even have a martyr for the left, and if we did, we would not hear about it on the media.
