Body temperatures ARE often gender related, but more often they are just individual. I can tolerate wide variations in air and water temps, but I have had friends, both male and female, who could not. It seems to be a combination cultural/genetic thing....and sometimes changes in later life.

I do like my shower to be reasonably hot...but can stand it if the water is only tepid. I just turn off my 'notice' until I am finished.
