Thread Name: BS: Bath Vs Shower, a gender thing?
Subject: RE: BS: Bath Vs Shower, a gender thing?
My little brother who is 6'6" always dreamed of having a bath that was long & deep enough to soak in. He got married & had 2 children & a mortgage, which put an end to things like golf, skin diving & plans for a luxurious bath.

I have a shower set over a nasty modern short & shallow bath. I like showers (I feel more clean), but as some folks said, a bath is great for soaking sore backs etc, except when it's a modern short, shallow bath. I can sit & stretch my legs out & the rest of me gets cold, or I can get my back under water & my legs stick up & get cold. So I just shower & as I live alone, don't run out of warm water.

At Easter thousands of Australian folkies head to Canberra, where it is autumn, but winter to those from hotter climates, some years we get frost! The reason is the National Folk Festival, & we camp out & join long shower queues where a thin trickle of usually cold water is part of the fun. (fun?)
