Shambles, interesting site you posted (Folk London) I have never been outside the states yet but I can see that I would suffer from culture shock even in the UK where my assumption was that I would be at least be able to understand the language. I mean the telephone numbers alone were a bit confusing to me, only being used to how we communicate here in the USA by phone. After looking at a map that someone posted in a thread about a festival there I think I could easily get lost as well, as things like road markings were also a challenge to understand. I guess I'll have to do quite a bit more study before I take on the idea of a visit overseas. The getting there will be easy compared to getting about once I'm there.
