Don, I am an hour north of there. I would recommend going to Eddies Attic in Decatur a suburb on the east side of town THe only folk venue in Atlanta that I know of they have a website. Check it out. Normally good entertainment there. Sometimes There is good entertainment in midtown at a place called the red light cafe They also have a website very eclectic kind of a hippie type place but sometimes has good music there
I will check out some other stuff There is probably some decent bnluegrass in Atlanta, but I will have to check it out, if that is something you like If you like Jazz, I can recommend some venues.
