Many years ago I heard a poem read by Dave Guard. It was called "The Perfect High" and was a satirical piece poking fun at the self awareness "movement".

Here is what I remember of it:

"There once was a boy
Named "Gimme some Roy"
He was not like me and you
'cause laying back
And getting stoned
Was all that he wanted to do"

It was longish and very funny and a phrase in that poem has stayed with me, almost to the point of obsession;

Chocolate chip pizza!
