It's a BIG wide wonderful world! And the more I learn, I learn just how much I don't know, and the more things seem to change, the more they repeat themselves. Why I say this is because I was just remembering something a friend told me 15 years ago. He's a wrangler from Idaho (USA) that moved to Australia some 20 years ago. He said that he felt instantly at home there, what with the songs and the story telling (to say nothing of the beer and the girls). Another friend, a lady, told me of the cowboys she encountered on the Patagonia, in Argentina. Very similiar life styles, adventures, romances, songs and tales.
