I was in Richmond last moth visiting a friend and he was playing this CD. It's real scratchy and primaitive, but what wasn't in the 20's. I'll tell ya what. Them folks were playing a strange blend of gospel, blues and mountain music.
Richmond is still full of old timey musicians. I lived there for 20 years and hope when I retire in a couple of years to move back there. Great town and great musicans. Not too may bluesmen but, hey...
