Mary, you are right, many songs were written about that tragedy. I wrote one myself, I was playing in a Newfie club at the time. I know that Michael T. Wall ( a newfoundland singer) also wrote one, as did many other people.I don't know which one Winters wages is looking for, I know it's not mine anyway.
