Bev and Jerry- Thanks for the ad...just want to say that my little book is a very-beginning book, teaches simple basics of "the old way" of playing, along with some good history. Modern chording, fingerpicking and "hot licks" are not taught here; however, if one wants occasionally to do it the old way, it's easier to learn it in the beginning than it is after one has mastered the more complicated methods.
