It's probably worth going to your local A+E or local minor injuries unit, to get it cleaned up properly, a few years ago I sliced the end of my left index finger off, decided to treat it myself, and not bother the hospital.I made the wrong decision! It got infected and turned black, I had to go to doctors in the end anyway to get it sorted out, and had to take a course of strong anti-biotics.
