Firstly let me offer an apology for this unorthodox use of Mudcat. I am trying to find an old mate of mine with the unusual name of JOHN FIDO,he emigrated to Oz around 1960 and will be about 60 yrs old now.In the UK he was a House painter.
I have tried 'Friends Reunited' and the Australian White Pages telephone directory with Zero success.
