I shouldn't think so. He must be in his early/middle fifties these days. He certainly used to have left wing politics and was quite passionate about certain causes. He had a lovely song about Victor Jara. I can't recall him doing any Irish songs - although that does not mean that he never did. He certainly knew Ian A Anderson and Maggie Holland - then Hot Vultures and Gerald (GT) Moore. I wonder which song you are quoting there. It may give me a clue.
