There's a country song that I like except for a mixed metaphor that stands out (to me) like a sore thumb. I think the song is titled "I Wouldn't Change You If I Could." The last line of the last verse is "If I were a potter and you a piece of clay, The only thing I'd change would be your name."
Whenever I hear that, I can't help picturing some guy marrying a hunk of clay!
