I have some concern for giving out the personal information, like bithdates, real e-mail, location, etc.

A question for those who do have done personal profiles either with or without the pictures.

Have you heard from others who have obtained this personal information. Has the contact been positive or negative?

I suspect I'm being a bit over anxious about this. My name & phone number is in a directory as local contact for another hobby of mine. So far as I can tell, the only people who have used that source are really interested in the hobby.
