It was back in the days of the first George Bush that my cousin (a Republican Floridian) said to me, "I think the George Bush is the finest President we've ever had!" I looked him in the eye and siad, "I think he's the finest President since Chester Alan Arthur." My cousin had no idea how to respond to that one, and silence ensued.
