Born in '46, grew up in Quebec. Moved to Toronto when I was 18 and got fired from a number of jobs before becoming a full-time musician. I have an absolute all-consuming passion for just about all folk music forms, including traditional country, bluegrass, jazz and blues, and can't ever see myself earning my living outside of music. Since my early 20s I've disliked the "biz" part of the music business, and have never been that interested in the promotional aspect of it. I'm married to Heather (duckboots on the mudcat) who tolerates folk music, and we have two cats, but no kids. I do freelance Leather-Carving, writing, cartooning and instrument-repair.
