Born in 43, God, that sounds terrible. My like began in The Great San Joaquin Valley of California from parents who migrated a little eariery than most of the Okies and Arkies.Dad was fighting Hitler's Army and upon his return, took our family to the Southern California area.Schooled in Upland, CA and joined the Marines in 1961 and found Folk Music of the sixties to be of great interest but a green Marine's uniform was conflicting any freedoms of war protesting. So I absorbed the spirit of the music and came to terms with the fact this music had real origins, not just a form of pop folk music.I married Mrs. Mudjack in 1963 and we brought into this world a son and daughter. During their growing up I was in a mode of reversing the aging process buy refusing to grow up.I began my music training about the same time I started my apprenticeship as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician. It being the responsible thing to do, the music is my first and favorite thing to do but Electrician's work pays the bills and affords me to be materialistic. I work at being a loving and caring husband, but my Mrs. works harder at it since she supports all my music efforts and she does not play or sing.Yes, she's an angel. She's also the person responsible for creating this stage monster, she bought me a guitar on my thirtieth birthday and from there it's been a busy enjoyable life chasing all the music events we can find. My most recent gig was singing a song for our daughter's wedding. A last minute request and I even selected the song...Kate Wolf's " Give Yourself to Love. Mudjack here and wondering if anyone really wants to know that much about a mudcat or will reveal that much about themselves. Well Rick, you got my attention. Yours.....Mudjack
