First off, ta fer the suggestions so far...

2nd, lemme address a couple of points...

1, "You don't say whether your mixer is powered or not." Well, if you click the link I supplied to the specs on the mixer I'm talking about you'll see the first line reads, "The MP6D six channel powered mixer..." Clear enough?? ,-)

2, "Really depends what you are trying to put through them." Good point... at the least, a voice, an accoustic guitar and on occasion a bodhran... At the most, 2 Guitars, 2 voices, a bazoukie/mando mix, and a selection of penny whistles... Venues... from small room pubs, to (I guess) medium sized indoor and out-door shows...

3, "If you are a halfway competent carpenter you can build your own" Heh... ya... that's a mighty big IF there mate!! LOL

4, "They're not really large either - 24" H x 18" W x 14 ¾" D" Got a ballpark figure on their weight merritt???
