I think this CD is now out of print but "Thingummybob" isn't on it anyway.

This is also the title of the tape that I've got with Arthur Askey's version on although as someone taped it for me I haven't got the details of it.

I've got quite a few tapes and CDs of wartime songs (including one with someone singing "Who do you think you are kidding Mr Hitler" - totally anachronistic as it wasn't written until 1968!)They came out when anniversaries of the war were looming - you have to look out for them. I was surprised nobody brought a record out of the songs that were featured on Dad's Army - or did they?

Sophie - If you want a copy of Arthur or Gracie's version, drop me an email with your details and I'll send you a tape of them.
