Penny, Yes ,the song is listed in volumes of "Rugby Songs". I haven't heard the theory that Richard ll was a homosexual: he certainly had an almost morbid love for his first wife, Anne of Bohemia. Certainly a rather effeminate looking man with no martial skills like many who pre and succeeded him but with many odd character flaws. All King Richards seem to come to a sticky end.
