I think the solution is a waste of money. What is it made with?
Isopropyl alcohol not only breaks down vinyl with over use, but as it evaporates it leaves a deposit from impurities.

Paint spatters. Tried olive oil. Over about two weeks, the paint specks softened enough to be lifted off. Then washed with Ivory and finally distilled water. Other cooking oils may work. Probably will not work with all paints, but worth a try if the record is a rare one.
