OK...I have made my logistical arrangements. It is just as easy to get to Europe from here as it is to get to Seattle and forget about Portland. Anyway, we (the famous cookie lady from Sunnycamp) and I are going to rent a car and drive up Friday. Cool..I get to meet her in the Wet Dog Cafe...with a beautiful view of the Columbia River.

I am not going to travel light this time. I am going to bring everything my heart desires. My own shampoo. My accordian and my fiddle. My tent in case I want to commune with nature (I hate how hot people turn those cabins up). My own food for my high-protein diet. A full size towel. Heck, I'll throw in some moisturizer.

I wish I had a really good tape recorder. I have a pretty good one but I can't find it. If anyone has one and wants to tape stuff, guaranteed to be good stuff. And you just never know these days when something will be your last time somewhere..
