We have a really good system for this - the Lyrics and Knowledge Search (thought the Forum Search part isn't working at the moment).
For example type CARLOW in the box. It brings up 5 or 6 songs including "Follow Me Up To Carlow". Clicking on this brings up not only the song, but a crossreference to the thread called "Origins: Follow Me Up To Carlow".
