Annap-- Logistics: everyone gets to stay in rustic (unheated) 1930s log cabins built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. There are beds with foam mattresses. Bathrooms with flush plumbing and hot showers are nearby, though often in another building. Food is deliciously catered in the Dining Hall by Debbie McClatchy. You'll volunteer about 2 hours in the kitchen during the course of the weekend (bring a vegetable-chopping shanty). If the cabins sound too rustic, there's a Super-8 motel about 5 miles down the road near the exit from I-95 (we've arranged for group discount rates). Iamgine a great summer camp with fall foliage... Specific details by mid-July.--Charlie Baum
