If you have WIN 95, 98, and maybe 2000, (but I think not XP, and I don't know about ME) I highly recommend Michael Quinion's free input box spell checker. Once installed on your computer, it's available whenever you're in an input box (such as I'm writing this in). You only need to hit CTRL/Shift and F12, and it checks your whole typed text; no cut and paste, no clipboard. Google it by searching for "Quinion" and "spell check".

More's the pity, I'm now on XP Pro, and it doesn't seem to work, so I'm looking for something that will serve the same purpose.
