I always was led to believe that "wild Mountain Time" was just an adaptation of the song "Braes of Balquidder" but I once heard a radio programme featuring the MacPeake family where they took credit for writing "W.m.t." as an original song.
After listening to both versions/songs, I was convinced that there was,if not copying, a severe amount of subliminal influence going on.
