Having a day pass, for donation, was a great way to a feel for the camp. I live nearby and and didn't really need the overnight accomodations. I missed Friday having another event to attend and arrived too late on both Saturday and Sunday to do as much as I would have liked. The workshops were so plentiful that it was difficult to choose. I wish I could have had time to visit all of them. I noticed that some folks were running on too little sleep by Saturday and were really operating on coffee's virtues alone after Friday's fun. I ended up staying till 2:30am Saturday/Sunday and so was feeling about the same when I arrived back on Sunday near noon. I don't partake of the bean myself but the M&Ms helped. ;~)
I especially enjoyed having a chance to share my songs and mix my saw with so many fine female vocalists. I does offer me an opportunity to get in touch with my feminine side, vocally I mean. I can hit notes with it that I couldn't normally touch with my voice, even if I wore my tightest underware. *BG*
I met some new folks like Mary Garvey, btw thanks for the request, and Flip and had the chance to get to hear the Mudcat cds via Genie's set which she brought to advertise to the campers. Wow, what a compilation it is! I'm so glad that my meager talents were able to be a part of such a project.
