I awoke this morning! All systems go and in working order. With a slow awakening, I felt the comfort of our bed, stroked the cat which had crawled under the covers to drape himself over my hip, while the rumble of his love-purr vibrated against my skin. I was awake, all body parts working, brain alert, partner beside me and my dog was so darn glad I couldn't help but smile.

Then the kitties, all six of them, great harmonies, started singing for their breakfast, twining just in front of my every step to the warm *potty*, then out to the warm and light kitchen to let the dog out for a little bladder relief.

The sky has not fallen, birds were at the feeder, and the nip in the air was invigorating and even maked??! made my mature, full-goddess breasts perky, again.*bg*

There will be more as the day unfolds, ready to be told at the close of day, but for now, I remember that yesterday was a good day, too. Yesterday, I received an unexpected package in the mail, an out-of-the-blue gift from a fellow Mudcatter-friend. "I saw this and felt that you would enjoy a copy, so I bought you one." Oh, wow, a book with photographs and commentary of Wise Women. Made me laugh and cry altogether; with the joy of the book and the even greater joy at the thoughfulness and insight of this friend. Also gave me even more to look forward to on this journey we call Life.

Yesterday was a good day; a day of balance. The book from a friend, a positive response on a business proposal. Several phone calls with good friends. Unsettling news on another front. Today will bring more news, either way.

Jerry, thanks for this. I have long practised thanks giving and it is a good way to live, imo. Every morning and at night before I go to bed, I give thanks for all that we have, all that we give and all that we receive. And, it is so much fun to give!!
