There's a brilliantly funny musical for kids: "Surgical Sensation at St. Sennapod's or Dr. Scalpel's Missing Bit" by John Gardener and Fiz Coleman. Songs include: "St. Sennapod's at Your Service", "Nickin' Bits in the Night", "I've Left My Gloves In" (this is a parody of "My Way" sung by the surgeon).

I've never done this one, but it's one I have in mind for my 7-11 year old drama pupils. It looks as though it would work very well !
