In the song The Wheels of the World as sung by Len Graham it claims :

"Wellington was a good spinner,
His wheels were at Waterloo,
If Grouchy had never been bribed,
The French would have cut him in two."

Not sure if the claim has any historical basis, the song is generally not written from a pro-British perspective.
