Yeah, Musicman....I'd say so......I think NZ will go back to the heavier but sturdier boom which started the thing off. The main tear was a direct result. But I think the jib change, though a gear failure, wasn't handles well by NZ and they know it. They look pretty down at the moment......I'm sure they'll be up for romorrow though. Truly a major setback as I think they planned to sweep!!!

Also NZ was taking a lot of water over the rail which struck me as odd since they know the conditions well and a different sail combo might have eliminated the problem. It created a lot of extra pressure which obviously NZ didn't need.
