Have had good luck with all kinds of discount places, including Costco. However, i have no dieeases of the eye.......something to consider. An opthamologist is a medical doctor, an optomotrist is a seller of glasses. The latter works fine for me, for my friend with glaucoma, the former is more appropriate.
