Pam Fitzgerald................I will never forget you. I was in the fourth grade. I was being the typical little goof at school, and in she walks. I can see her face this moment. She had hair "as black as coal" (I know Pete, you wrote skin as black as coal, but this is my feckin' story!!!), a face full of the most beautiful Norman Irish freckles one has ever seen, tall, ........ right then and there I knew that I had to learn to sing so's I could sing to her. Visited her at her home one time, and she showed me her pet frog.............it was a beautiful pet frog, cuz it got fed by her ........ I knew that the old ones had led me to her, she was the one..........summer vacation came and I thought about her all the time.........couldn't wait to see her in the fall..........came the first day of fifth grade....I was being the typical little goof at school, and in walks Linda Hartley. I can see her face at this moment.......She had hair ..................
