Rainman (Hoffman gave the most amazing "from the top of his head to the toes of his feet" performance that I have ever seen.)

The Field - Jim Sheridan did a great job directing Richard Harris, Tom Berenger, John Hurt, Sean Bean, et al, in a wonderful look at one Irish family.

Wolfen - Three of the stars are Albert Finney, Edward James Olmos, and Gregory Hines. Need I say more?

The Original Highlander, only.

Nightmare on Elm Street (Only the original, none of the sequels. The early scene where Freddy is pushing through the ceiling scared the shit out of me. I love being scared by movies)

And I can't wait for Gods and Generals.

In addition to all this, I just love to go to movies with no great message. From time to time I need a little mindless enjoyment to get away from all the reality that I deal with.
