It's just that with so many bad guys in the world we can't take them all out, even sequentially- we'd be at war ALL the time and at risk of terrorism ALL the time and there will always be new baddies coming up through the ranks to replace them- there is no end to it. It seems much more logical and productive for nations in alliance to proceed with a clear agenda as to objectives, causes, and projected results and to pursue the evildoers who are responsible for each act.)
