How does one lose one's "taste" for music? Music is not a "taste" to me--rather it part of who & what I am. The last person I was engaged to didn't understand this, & informed me that I would not need to participate in such silliness as "gigs" after we married. I set him straight. I still play gigs, & teach lots of music lessons, too. I also play my piano (or guitar or autoharp or penny whistle or whatever) at a couple of clocks in the am or whenever else I desire!
