In Britain in WW2 (Yeah, before my time too) they had to make their own Duct Tape substitute for sticking on the windows. I saw a film as a child, of a window blowing in in a conventional explosion, in a million tiny, supersonic blades. It would be ironic to be far enough from ground zero to survive the blast and radiation, but be killed by your bedroom window. No idea if tape would make a difference, has anyone any information?
What sort of megalomaniac would be developing Alphabet Bombs anyway? You couldn't use one without instant retaliation from someone with LOTS more than you have.
Here in NZ we even ban nuclear power, and I'm glad. It does make us vulnerable to these anuses though.
