A weekly newspaper that I take is www.liberalopinion.com. It's meaty rather than strident (Stridency is why I stopped taking Z Magazine) and has a wide range of commentators and political cartoonists, mostly liberal but on occasion others, regulars as well as guests, including Richard Reeves, David Broder, Ellen Goodman, Molly Ivins, Ralph Nader, E.J. Dionne,Jr., Eleanor Mill, Bateman, even Joe Lieberman. $49.50 per year, and as I said, it's a weekly of about 30 pages.
