Burke, I'm in full agreement with the premise that most people want to be, and therefore should be, in a relationship. I have even thought half seriously of creating a database for good people who want to meet good people.

That said, I suspect there are a LOT of people who have discovered they do NOT want that kind of a relationship. When I finally faced that knowledge for myself my life immediately became a more peaceful one. I now enjoy being friends with all age groups, both sexes, and in many more environments far more than before; the pressure is completely off.

A couple of FRIENDS, a LOT of friends and congenial family, preferably all steeped in music- that's a great recipe for life itself. For me.
